Fitting and personalisation information
Measurements, fit notes, and reference photographs you choose to provide for made-to-measure, bespoke, or service purposes.

Payment and invoicing information
Invoice records, payment status, and transaction references. We do not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment provider.

Delivery information
Shipping address, tracking details, and customs information required for delivery or return.

What we do not do

  • Orders, warranty, and service records: 5 years from completion of the relevant service, then reviewed. A minimal maker / serial stewardship record may be retained longer where necessary to support authenticity, ownership history, and long-term service continuity.

  • Accounting and tax records: 7 years.

  • General enquiries and allocation requests: up to 24 months after last activity.

  • Security logs: up to 12 months.

Where deletion is requested, we will delete or anonymise personal data where the law allows. Where we must retain certain information, or where deletion would undermine essential authenticity or service records, we will explain what can and cannot be removed.

Where UK GDPR applies, and where relevant EU GDPR applies, you may have the right to:

This website and our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where consent is relied upon for online services directed to children, UK law sets a specific age threshold of 13, but TANAKA is not directed to children and does not knowingly market to them.
